After we meet at our bike location, we take off as a group to our first stop called "Yoshikien", a garden gathering 3 styles japanese gardens in a unique location; a way to enjoy and rediscover the place at every season. Then, we stop by "Nandaimon gate" to admire the Buddhism style building and walk around the place, petting and feeding the deers with official "Deer cookie".
We go in "Todaiji Temple" and get the chance to learn more about the history of Nara and see the biggest Buuhda statue in the country.
We will then stop by one of the oldest former katana sword maker and actual Japanese knife maker shop, the house of "Kikuichi", where you can admire all types of knives, try the blade on paper to feel its sharpness, and even get a free engraving on the blade if you wish to buy a knife while you are with us.
After the knife shop, we stop by "Kasuga Taisha", The most important Shrine in the city and you will discover the concept of "Shinto" with your guide in a very unique way.
we go through "Nara Park" to avoid traffic and stop by "Sagi Ike" for great picture by the pond and observe the japanese carps.
Finally, we go back to the shop with great memories, pictures, and good stories.
